Chateau and Cellar

Chateau Hansen is located in the Haibowan District of Wuhai City, east of the Yellow River. Green trees in front of the winery create a pleasant environment. There are small bridges over running water, and there are flocks of geese and ducks. Small streets criss-cross the back of the winery. More than a dozen high-quality grape varieties were imported from France. Here the guest can not only admire the beautiful landscape of the desert oasis and the winemaking process, but also experience wine growing and taste fine wines.

Hansen’s underground wine cellar covers an area of 3,000 square meters, with more than 2,000 imported oak barrels in the wine storage area and a wine storage capacity of up to 500 tons. In the VIP wine storage area, select wines of various vintages are stored depending on customer requirements. The cellar temperature is maintained at 16 to 20 degrees Celsius all year round, the relative humidity is controlled at 50 to 70%, the lighting is suitable and there is soft background music, which is said to have a positive effect on the maturation of high-quality wines.

Chateau Hansen currently has an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons and is the largest wine production company in Inner Mongolia. Hansen’s newly introduced “Flash Post-Fermentation Process” is currently the most advanced winemaking technology in the world. Because the grape skins are immediately relieved and crushed into fine particles, most of the active ingredients can be released to create a more nutrient-rich wine body.
